Q&A

Our Anti-Laceration Underwear

What is the FIS 4-star certification?

The FIS 4-star certification (CRG 2021) is the highest level of cut protection recognized by the International Ski Federation. It guarantees that the garment offers exceptional resistance against ski blades, tested in multiple directions. Few products reach this level of certification.

What is the difference between EN388 and FIS 4 stars?

The standard EN388 Level 4 certifies resistance to abrasion and cuts according to European standards. The certification FIS 4 stars is specific to alpine skiing and competition. Our Base Layers combine both to provide double safety in case of cuts or abrasion following a fall on ice or snow.

Does the fabric sting or scratch like other protections?

No. Unlike clothing containing fiberglass, our Base Layers use an exclusive hypoallergenic and soft fiber that does not irritate and remains comfortable all day long.

WARNING – DISCLAIMER Our cut protection products are designed to minimize the risk of cuts under normal sports practice conditions. Do not change or modify the protection products in any way. Before use, check that the cut protection product shows no signs of damage that could affect its protective qualities.
