The Nagano family is growing with our star athletes. They are the ones who wear the colors of Nagano on the international scene, while embodying our values ​​and our passion for skating.


They are not only athletes, but also valuable members of our team, inscribed in our DNA and contributing to our sporting heritage.

Florence Brunelle

20 years

Florence Brunelle began skating at the age of seven and quickly showed exceptional talent. Her career took off in 2020 when she represented Canada at the Winter Youth Olympics , winning bronze medals in the 500m and 1000m. Shortly after, she won silver at the ISU World Junior Championships in the 500m and 1500m.


At the 2022 Beijing Olympics , Florence contributed to Canada's fourth place finish in the women's 3000m relay. She is also the youngest Canadian to have participated in the Olympic Games in speed skating. A few weeks later, she won gold in the 500m, 1000m and 3000m relay at the World Junior Championships , confirming her status as a future star in speed skating.


Away from the ice, Florence has a great artistic spirit, loving playing the ukulele, painting, drawing and reading. He's also the person behind all our strategies on social networks! Florence Brunelle is ready to write the next chapters of her sporting career with Nagano.

Antoine Gélinas-Beaulieu

31 years

Antoine has been promoting Nagano internationally for several years now. Born to skate, he started at age 9 and quickly showed exceptional talent. Inspired by the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, he nurtured the dream of one day representing his country on the ice.


His career began with promising success at the junior level. His first steps on the international scene saw him shine at the 2009 World Junior Short Track Championships .

Focused exclusively on long track since 2015, he progressed quickly, qualifying for major international events and earning his first World Cup medals .


His performance at the 2020 World Single Distances Championships , where he won the bronze medal in the mass start, was a highlight. Antoine proudly represented Canada at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games . However, his journey is far from complete. In 2024, he won 3 medals at the Worlds in Calgary !


Off the ice, Antoine Gélinas-Beaulieu is a guy with a thousand talents. With a certificate in film studies, he is considering a career in cinema. His videos of Nagano products are all the rage on social networks! During the season, he finds balance through various relaxing activities such as playing the piano, riding a unicycle, and making pottery.
