The Epix Pro (Gen2) family is offered in 3 models of different sizes:
  • 42mm/47mm/51mm
Two different exterior design models to choose from:
  1. Standard: Standard Corning Gorilla Glass / Stainless Steel Bezel / Silicone Bands.
  2. Sapphire: Sapphire crystal / titanium bezel / silicone straps
  • If we compare the Fenix 7 series with the Epix Pro series (Gen2) we face a BIG problem, they are practically the same! (when we talk about their internal functionalities and their activity profiles)

  • To more easily divide these two series and help you find the watch that best suits your needs and dreams, we have selected a few key characteristics to remember when browsing in-store or online:
  1. If you are an athlete who is constantly outdoors: Fenix 7 series.
  2. If you're an athlete spending more time indoors and looking for a high-end everyday wearable: the Epix Pro series (Gen2)
For what?
  •  MIP vs AMOLED displays are the two main factors that divide these two Garmin families.
  1. MIP = Fenix 7 series.
  2. AMOLED = Epix Pro series (Gen2).
  •  The Epix Pro (Gen2) does NOT allow for solar charging capabilities BUT the crisp, vibrant visuals of an AMOLED display.

The reality?

- For high-end Garmin wearables such as Fenix 7 and Epix Pro (Gen2) series, customer should do their own homework:

  •  What are your goals as an athlete and as an individual?
  •  Do you train primarily indoors or outdoors?
  •  Do you have a preference for vibrant displays or a more neutral display?
