On the way to the 2030 Olympic Games

Nagano is launching its Academy in France and organizing an international excellence training camp in short track in Font-Romeu, one of the most renowned high-performance training centers in Europe. Located at 1800 meters above sea level, Font-Romeu has been hosting winter and summer Olympic teams for decades, thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities and ideal environment for physical preparation.

As part of its long-term vision and support for athletes heading to the 2030 Winter Olympic Games, this camp brings together European and international skaters, guided by Canadian and European Olympic coaches. A complete immersion in the highest level performance culture.

From August 9 to 15, 2025

✈️ Nearest airport: Barcelona-El Prat (BCN)
A simple and direct access for international athletes. Plan for about 2 hours of driving from the airport to Font-Romeu.

🧊 Training camp program

• 7 days
• 12 ice training sessions
• 12 dryland training sessions
• 6 technical conferences dedicated to short track

Schedule:

• Sunday, August 9: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday, August 15: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Fees:

• 650 €: camp + accommodation + meals at CREPS
• 425 €: camp only

Accommodation at CREPS:

• Athletes: collective dormitories, maximum 6 people per room
• Coaches: double occupancy (shared rooms for two)

An intensive and structured program, combining biomechanics of movement, technique, tactics, dryland training, seminars, and exchanges with international experts.

🤝 Mentoring for European coaches

A program dedicated to coach training:

• Daily participation in sessions with Canadian coaches
• Seminars every evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Topics: planning, video analysis, biomechanics, high-level experience feedback

Cost: 400 € (including mentoring + accommodation + meals at CREPS)
