Masters long track camp - Quebec. December 3 to 7, 2024

Details:

• Arrival Monday evening.
  • Short introduction at 7:15 p.m. *Optional session from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. ($25)
  • Camp begins Tuesday December 3 and ends Saturday December 7 after the ice session at 1 p.m.
• 2 long track ice sessions and 1 dryland per day.
• Ice sessions at 11:15 and 14:00.
• 1 ice session Saturday from 11am to 1pm. 

The coaches will be Marty Haire, Jonah Hurtubise and François Drolet.

We will add more coaches if we have more than 20 skaters.

Price: 515$ CAD + taxes 

Time taken/competition Saturday the 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: $20 optional

Possibility of short track session on Tuesday evening and or Friday evening $27 per session (optional).

The camp will provide technical aspects but also a balanced focus on speed and acceleration. The main themes of each day will be:

• Day 1: straight lines, balance, weight transfer; excluding ice cream: imitations
• Day 2: Off-ice turns: training cables;
• Day 3: acceleration, power, pressure Off ice: slideboards
• Day 4: speed, lines, Core tempo, Yoga, stretching
• Day 5: Preparation for the competition, recap;

*Equipment and sharpening seminars will be held during camp.
